Purchasers FAQs

Is there a technology fee?

Yes. A non-refundable technology fee of €300 (including VAT) is payable when you request to purchase a property. This covers the use of our platform and technology services.

What happens after I successfully reserve a property?

Once you reserve a property, you’ll receive instructions on next steps including how to complete your booking deposit payment and anything else between now and when you proceed to digital contract signing via DocuSign.

What is a booking deposit?

An Auctioneer's booking deposit is a refundable deposit paid by a potential purchaser after their offer is accepted to show their genuine intent to purchase a property. It is held by the Auctioneer, and the property is taken off the market, but it is fully refundable up until contracts are signed. The deposit is typically a fixed amount (e.g., €5,000)

How do I pay the remaining deposit?

You will receive instructions from your agent / developer on how to pay the remainder of your deposit. Please note, that you should seek guidance from your solicitor on when to pay your full deposit.

Can I get a refund if I withdraw?

The Property Links technology fee is a non-refundable, once off payment, even if you withdraw after requesting to purchase. The booking deposit paid to the Auctioneer is refundable up until the point where you sign your contract.

How does bidding work?

There is no bidding in the new homes process. The price you see is the price of the property, minus all other associated conveyancing costs.
